KitaNeko Program FAQ

Kitafund and #KindnessCrew collaborated with Kiseneko to provide an additional total donation of RM 150,000 for 150 cat treatments against FIP.

1. If I have registered with Kitafund before but using a different brand, can I still register?

Yes, you can still register even though you already have an ongoing campaign. However, the previous donors will not be counted. We will count the 20 new donors and the new amount of funds collected.

2. What does a unique donor mean?

A unique donor is a user who has made at least one donation to the campaign and is counted only once within a specific timeframe.

3. What if my cat died during the program and there’s already funds in the campaign?

If there’s an outstanding vet bill to be paid, you can use the fund to clear the bill. If there’s none, remaining funds will be channeled to this campaign: https://kitafund.com/campaign/8074

4. What if I use Kiseneko but buy the medicine from a vet/clinic?

Only eligible to purchase directly from Kiseneko’s website. You can still bring the FIP medicine to the vet.

5. Since fund disbursement is only on Tuesday and Thursday, what if I need the medicine urgently?

We will refer to Kiseneko if they are able to send the medicine on the same day. Campaigners would still need to order from the website and fill in the fund disbursement form. Early/urgent shipping will only be allowed if:

  • The fund balance in campaign is enough
  • The request is made during working days and hour, Monday – Friday (9am-5pm)
  1. My campaign did not reach min of 20 donors. Can I still get the reward?

The reward will be given to campaigns that collected 20 donors only. You can still disburse funds as usual even though you did not reach the target.

6. After I get rewarded, can I still get another reward?

The reward is only one-off.

7. Can I still continue my campaign after a month?

Yes, you can still continue the campaign but after a month, you will no longer be under the KitaNeko program.

8. If there’s a shipping fee, can I use the fund to pay for it?

Cat owners will bear the shipping cost. Kitafund will only pay for the medicines.
